From shirt to jacket

It all starts with a men’s dress shirt made of good fabric. I love cotton fabrics and bold colours and patterns.

With every shirt I think about what kind of jacket I will make from it. Does the pocket stay? Will the sleeves be short or long?

I keep the shirt’s details whenever I can.

Whatever fabric is left over becomes a belt or a bow tie. Nothing goes to waste. The best ideas often come while working, not on paper.
